A big snake with a skinny head and pointed nose,the common boa has a diversity of colors although has dark, saddle spots along his backside, occsionally turns  dark red toward the tail. There may be up to 10 subspeices. The common boa is very good as getting used to things (adapting), and uses a large range of environments,from deserts to trpical rain forests.It also maybe found in cities. It
climbs good but also hunt on the ground just as well, especially in some of the more arid habitats in which it often happens. It is a good swimmer also.
